Hair-spiration: Naturally Curly Girls T.W.A (Teenie Weenie Afros) & Massive Crazy Fros

Okay,  I admit it...I had been on the hunt for a new hairstyle for a minute now. I have been rocking my shaved back & sides with hair on top for like almost a year now. And, honestly there's only but so much you can do with it until you get bored.

So, recently I have been on the hunt for a new "doo" to rock for the summer something fresh...I have also been getting really tired of relaxing my hair (I don't know if ya'll have gotten to that point?) But, I definitely have.

I decided to go.....gasp! Natural!! So, being the person that I am..I did some research. Naturally, like any relaxed lady your scared as anything to go ah la natural without a fresh box of relaxer and laid edges. All reservations aside, instead of transitioning while having the same style with no relaxer, I decided to do the BC, or (the BIG CHOP) as naturals call it.

So, I did it!! Asked my daddy to chop the rest of my hair off......BOOM!! it's all gone. And, instantly, I felt a little nervous ya know with no hair and all. But, looking in the mirror after it was all done calmed my fears...Oh, and how easy it was to wash my hair like 5 mins tops..awesome.

I know being natural is definitely not a cake walkk and it is going to take some serious work to maintain my new doo. But, I am up for the challenge.....Natural girls here I come..

Tell me your natural journey? And, How you got started? Did you do a BC? or Transition?  Let me know in the comments below.

xoxo,
Ali
